The Nexus 9 has a simple design, no special fancy decoration, and no special highlights in thickness and weight.



The specific model of the NEXUS 9 disassembled this time is OP82100, which is 16GB WI-FI version.


Open the machine before disassembly.


HTC featured camera design.


BoomSound speakers are inconspicuous at the edge, and the front camera is inconspicuous in the black panel.


The back cover is fixed by a snap and can be pried off.


The rear camera is fixed on the back cover.


The flat cable connecting the camera is located on the inside of the motherboard, and the motherboard must be opened to reconnect.


The camera is F/2.4, 35mm equivalent focal length, and has auto focus function. The camera number is 3BA804P1K1419 A1.0. The camera model is the same as that used on HTC Desire 610.


After removing the rear camera, the back looks like this.


NFC antenna is pasted on the back with glue and can be removed.


The most obvious thing to remove the back cover is the battery, but it is not easy to remove it. HTC uses a lot of glue to stick the battery inside the body.


The output voltage is 3.8V when the battery capacity is 6700mA.


Remove the front camera.


The front camera is 1.6 million pixels, F/2.4, The number is 3BF105P1 Y1428A1.0.


Most parts of the main board are covered with copper foil.


Unscrew the screws and remove the mainboard.

There are two main flat cables in the NEXUS 9 body to connect two mainboards.

Simple:

The rear cover is easy to open (just be careful not to break the rear camera cable);

It is not difficult to replace the battery. Although there is adhesive, it does not need to be heated to remove it.


Difficulties:

The interior of the Nexus 9 is as complex as a maze, and various cables make disassembly and reinstallation difficult;

The LCD screen and the glass panel are stuck together. If the glass panel is accidentally broken one day, the screen will have to be replaced together;

The front panel is firmly glued to the frame, making it extremely difficult to disassemble and replace the screen.
