Corning announced the launch of the fourth generation gorilla glass. Compared with the previous generation, the fourth generation focuses on making the mobile phone more resistant to falling. Corning said that in the process of research and development, it has studied hundreds of crushing equipment and screens and found that there is a greater possibility of damage in hard contact with concrete and surface. Under the same conditions, 80% of the fourth generation gorilla glass is intact, and its optical clarity is the same as that of the previous generation.

Corning said that the fourth generation gorilla glass has begun to ship, and hopes that consumer equipment with this configuration will be launched in this quarter.
