The 2014 OPPO autumn new product launch conference was held in Beijing Aoya Convention and Exhibition Center on October 29. Many OPPO products appeared in the conference, including the most eye-catching electronic rotary camera mobile phone N3, the world's thinnest mobile phone R5, the portable tablet headset PM-3, and the portable decoding ear amplifier all-in-one machine HA-2. We also took the lead to experience this new product on the scene.
First of all, of course, is the highlight of this press conference, N3. As the continuation of the first mobile phone N1 with rotating camera, N3 has made innovations in all aspects while retaining many design concepts of N1. The screen is reduced to 5.5 inches, so the body has a better grip.
In addition to the rotating camera, the N3 also has an electric rotation function, and the angle is precisely adjusted manually, which is very convenient for self taking.
The lower part of the fuselage is an arc shaped design, and there is an arc breathing lamp in the transparent part.
The camera of N3 adopts OV's 16 million pixel camera, 1/2.3 inch sensor, Schneider certified lens, aperture F2.2, and dual led fill light.
The N3 has replaced the back touch panel on N1 with a push fingerprint identification sensor. It also has some functions of the touch panel, and can also use the specific application and image library of the locking part.
The frame of N3 adopts the design of metal+white baking paint similar to N1, and the edge has mirror polishing bevel.
At the bottom are speakers and microphones.
On the right side of the body are 3.5mm headphone connectors and volume keys.

SIM card slot, power key and micro USB interface are located on the left side of the fuselage.
N3 supports dual card design, SIM1 supports TD-LTE, micro SIM card, SIM2 supports GSM, Nano SIM card, and when SIM2 is not in use, you can insert tf card to expand the body capacity.
The USB interface is also placed on the side of the body.
N3 uses ColorOS 2.0.1, which is not very different from ColorOS 2.0 on Find 7 in terms of UI and functions.

The TD-LTE version of N3 is N5207, and the system used is based on Android 4.4.4.
The N3 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AA 2.3GHz processor.
The system kernel version is 3.4, and the system storage is 2G Ram+32G Rom.
The highest GPU frequency is 578MHz. It can be seen from this that this is a Snapdragon 801 processor.
Although the system has not changed much, the N3 has added a fingerprint identification module, so there will also be corresponding fingerprint and screen locking options in the settings.
The N3 took the lead in using the PI2.0+original painting engine to modularize various functions in the camera.
At the same time, users are allowed to download new plug-ins by themselves.
N3 has a 16 megapixel camera with a large sensor. How is the photo taking effect? We also took some samples at the scene:

In this group of proofs, Note 4 has better performance in white balance and resolution, while N3 has better performance in virtuality, and the color of N3 is also flattering.

The white balance performance of the two is quite different. The N3 is cold and the iPhone 6 Plus is warm. The iPhone 6 Plus is relatively close to reality. With 16 million pixels, the N3 has the advantage of resolution.
R5 is another mobile phone product in this press conference. It focuses on the characteristics of thin and light body. It is also the thinnest mobile phone in the world, with a thickness of only 4.85mm.
There is a earphone groove on the top of the front of the fuselage, a slightly abrupt light sensor and distance sensor on the right, and a front camera on the right.

The R5 back is designed in three sections.
The rear 13 million pixel camera adopts Sony IMX214 sensor.
The material on the back is special. It is a kind of delicate matte white material, which has a certain color difference with the upper and lower parts.
R5 also launched a limited edition of Tuhao gold color matching. The metal middle frame is gold, and the middle frame uses an asymmetric arc design, bringing a better feel.
There is a micro USB connector and microphone on the bottom.

On the right side of the fuselage are the volume key and power key.
R5 is mainly light and thin. We also use a colored pencil to compare its thickness. It is obvious that the pencil is much higher than it.
R5 (4.85mm) is much thinner than iPhone 6 Plus (7.1mm).
In addition to mobile phones, the press conference also showed OPPO related audio and video products. The figure above is the new portable tablet headset PM-3, which is lightweight and easy to promote optimization for walkman and mobile phones, and is more suitable for the use of devices with low thrust.
On site, it is used for decoding ear amplifier HA-1 with PM-3.
PM-3 adopts closed design, and the surface adopts the design of drawing metal.
Although the PM-3 is lower positioned in the three OPPO flat earphones, it still shows the style of a big factory in terms of workmanship.
PM-3 adopts the plane diaphragm unit technology independently developed by OPPO.
In order to solve the problem of sound quality and power of mobile phones, OPPO also launched a new portable decoding ear amplifier integrated machine HA-2, which can also be used as a mobile power supply. From the appearance, it is also similar to the general mobile power supply, especially suitable for use with mobile phones.
Model information of HA-2 is printed on the front.
The HA-2 uses a volume knob similar to a portable earphone.
There are power display, low-frequency and gain switches on the side.
There are three audio input mode selection switches for ABC at the bottom. Port B is a full-size USB interface.
OPPO N3 cooperates with HA-2 and VE6 for audition. When Bass is turned off and low gain is turned on, the quality of this combination is comparable to that of many high-end walkmans, and of course, it is also better than ordinary mobile phones. However, when the Bass switch is turned on, the connection between middle and low frequencies will decrease, and the sense of low frequency will increase. High gain is suitable for use with large headphones.
