In Sony Expo 2014, there is a small space where the products on display have no so-called intelligence, no cameras, and no supply chain manufacturers to participate. This small space is Sony's latest masterpiece, the Lige Space UX of the future home concept.
Life Space UX was first officially put forward at CES in 2014. Its idea is to seamlessly integrate family and technology. It seems to be very tall. If it is simple, it can be understood as turning any flat surface into a screen, or forming a linkage with household products to provide a better and more natural experience.
In Sony Expo 2013, Hirai has already introduced this concept, while in Sony Expo 2014, Life Space UX was exhibited in China for the first time. Although there are only three products, its black technology like technology makes everyone sigh.
First of all, it may be the closest to daily use, and the price should be the most user-friendly in the current physical products. This bulb speaker, named Sony LED Bulb Speaker, is just like a common bulb in appearance design. It uses a standard spiral port, which means it can be used seamlessly in the current lamps.
Sony LED Bulb Speaker can be seen from its name that it is a product similar to a secret agent. Maybe on the surface, it looks like a light bulb. Although it is indeed a light bulb, it is connected to the device through Bluetooth, but it can realize the speaker function, as well as various volume and brightness adjustments.
This is probably the case in practice. Sony LED Bulb Speaker, as a light bulb, of course, is to provide its intrinsic brightness function, which can be adjusted steplessly through the corresponding remote controller. At present, it is still a Demo engineering machine, so there is no clear data on service life and brightness. From the point of view of on-site use, it also belongs to the "listening to a sound" series in terms of sound quality, without too many features. Assuming that multiple connections can be realized, wouldn't it be a better experience to form multi-channel channels that are easy to install and use?
This is the remote control connected to Sony LED Bulb Speaker, which can realize music playing control, volume adjustment and brightness adjustment. At present, it is in Demo engineering prototype, and its form may change in the future. In addition, in terms of link mode, it is not clear whether to use Wi Fi, infrared or Bluetooth.
Such a small white lunch box, although there is only one interactive experience that can be provided on site at present, is already exciting enough. This rechargeable portable projector, called Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector, is based on Sony's ultra short distance projection, and can project 23 inch impact at very close distance.
From the perspective of actual projection, the Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector does not need to take a power cord when it is actually used, and the projection distance is very close, so it is enough to be placed on the desktop. The actual brightness will not be a worry in daily use, and the color performance is also sufficient.
If it's just a projector with a built-in battery, how can Sony display it as a black technology in Life Space UX? The Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector on site is still a Demo engineering machine, so there are few functions that can be used, but only such a function is impressive enough.
On the scene, the projected image can be directly manipulated. Of course, it is not the movement of the whole picture, but the corresponding displacement can be carried out for each picture projected, which can be easily viewed. Of course, only displacement is not enough. According to the field staff, there will be zoom in, zoom out, click and other functions in the future. In interactive use, you can view pictures, read pages and other functions. These functions are breakthrough in projection. If the linkage can be realized in the future and interaction can be realized on different projectors, a lot of use time and experience can be improved.
On the Life Space UX, there are only three products. Compared with the small size of Sony LED Bulb Speaker and Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector, the last product is undoubtedly a heavyweight product in terms of its price and shock. This Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector's 4K ultra short focus projector made everyone on the scene marvel when they saw it, as well as when they heard the price.
Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector is also based on Sony's ultra short distance projection technology, which can project 147 inch 4K ultra clear pictures from a very close distance to the wall. In the actual demonstration, the 4K resolution, 147 inch large picture, color and stereoscopic sense shocked all the audience. Of course, it is not only 4K resolution, but also can provide 3D images. However, it has not been disclosed whether it is naked 3D or specific 3D technology.
Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector combines a magnifying lens, three independent SXRD micro displays and laser diode light source, making the projected 4K image clear and sharp, and ensuring sufficient brightness, even when the light is turned on, it can maintain good brightness.
In form, Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector pretends to be a TV cabinet, but in fact, it is really a TV cabinet. It has a built-in corresponding sound box, which can be placed separately. In addition, there are two lockers on the outermost side. In use, it only needs to level the front of one side and open the baffle.
Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector, which shocked everyone at the scene, is extremely shocked in terms of technology, and is also the first product in Life Space UX to officially launch. Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector has been sold in the United States and Japan. According to different configurations, it ranges from $30000 to $50000, up to about 300000 yuan.
On the Life Space UX of Sony Expo 2014, only three products are displayed, whether they are Sony Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector, Sony LED Bulb Speaker or Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector. It is undoubtedly unique and shocking in terms of technology convergence, ability expression and integration into home, which is also Sony's current vision of future home furnishing.
Of course, in Sony's Life Space UX, there are also three products, namely Ceiling screen, Tabletop screen and Wall mount display, which have not been introduced this time. The black technology contained in them is even more addictive. There is no scaring intelligence, no core control centers, only simple Bluetooth connection playing. In Sony's Life Space UX, technology is home, and everything is simple and natural.
