Nokia Lumia Icon (domestic model Lumia 930) is a WP mobile phone officially released seven months ago and sold by Verizon in the US market. However, recently Verizon's official Twitter account announced that Lumia Icon has been discontinued, which is very sad.

The life cycle of a mobile phone from its launch to the second half of the year is really unusual, except that it can't be sold at all. The uncompetitive price of Icon and the lack of marketing may explain why the sales of Icon are poor, and Nokia has only one Lumia 928 device on sale in Verizon. Other WP devices on sale in Verizon include Samsung ATIV SE, HTC 8X and M8 Windows, but even so, Verizon's WP mobile phone lineup is still stronger than AT&T and T-Mobile's.
