Apple Pay failed in the beginning
Apple Pay failed in the beginning

In the United States, retail giants such as Best Buy, Wal Mart and Lloyd's (the second largest drugstore in the United States) all said that they would not support Apple's latest Apple Pay service. Some businesses even shut down or modified the NFC devices in their stores, making it impossible for users to pay with Apple Pay.

The main reason behind this is another payment system called CurrentC, which is developed by retail giants themselves. This system can directly obtain funds from users' bank accounts, thus reducing the related costs incurred when swiping cards.

This system was originally scheduled to be released next year, and will have Android and iOS clients. At the same time, businesses will also have payment platforms suitable for this system.

Supporters of this system include retail giants Wal Mart, Hill's Department Store, kmart, and even many gas stations in the United States.
