According to foreign media reports, Sony has again reduced its smartphone shipments. Sony initially targeted 50 million units for shipment in fiscal year 2014. Previously, it had been reduced to 43 million units, but now it has set a target of 40 million units. In addition, when lowering the shipment target, Sony also hopes to continue to improve its profitability, or will consider using Chinese panel and touch screen manufacturers.
