At the launch of the new iPad in October, Apple announced that an Apple SIM would be built into the 4G version of the iPad, but there was little information about Apple SIM after that.

Recently, a foreign science and technology media exposed Apple's release of internal documents to retail store employees in a blog, explaining the situation of Apple SIM cards.

The newly released cellular iPad mini 3 and iPad Air 2 have Apple SIM built in. Apple SIM can support the following operators: T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint in the United States and EE in the United Kingdom.

Apple SIM card is not a technological innovation, and Chinese users will not be unfamiliar with this kind of SIM card. In China, a few years ago, there was a "one card with many numbers" method, writing several SIM information into one SIM card. Apple did not clearly announce the design intention of the Apple SIM card, but it is clear that they want users to avoid the trouble of frequent SIM changes.
