DXOMark, a foreign website, evaluated the camera performance of Sony's latest flagship smartphone, Xperia Z3. In the comprehensive scoring link, Xperia Z3 scored 79 points, which is the highest score given by the website for smartphones at present, and ranked first with the previous generation of Sony's flagship Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 with the same score.

The website evaluates the performance of Z3 shooting still images as follows:

Advantages: rich picture information in outdoor and low light conditions, excellent noise control, accurate overall exposure, excellent focusing speed and accuracy in bright environments, and satisfactory color distribution in most scenes.

Deficiency: visible color restoration deviation in some outdoor and low light samples, glare in backlight photography, and inaccurate color restoration when the fill light is turned on.
