Meizu The MX4 was officially released on September 2, just one year after the MX3 of the previous generation. The MX4 brings better process design, more powerful performance and more powerful camera. The Sample version of Meizu MX4 has also arrived in our evaluation room. Let's take a look at its "better phone":
The sample version of MX4 is used in this photo tour. The actual shipping version may be different
The packaging of the MX4 is very similar to Meizu's previous products, but some colorful elements are added to the home page
The packaging is still in the form of turning pages
The second page shows some hardware improvements of the MX4
You can see the true face of the MX4 on page 3
From the front, the MX4 and MX3 are very similar. There are no other elements except the round home key (with white backlight) on the front
The size of the MX4 screen is 5.36 inches, and the screen ratio is 15:9, with a width of 75.2 mm. The body is even wider than some phones with 5.5 inch screens. Some users may feel great pressure when holding it with one hand
On the top is a recessed earpiece, on the right is a light sensor and a distance sensor, and on the far right is a 2 megapixel front camera
Meizu's symbolic round home key
The MX4 uses an ultra narrow frame design. The frame is only 2.6mm, and the visual effect is very impressive
The grey version of the MX4 we got has a matte back cover, which has a delicate texture
The back has a certain radian, which fits the palm well
The rear 20.7 million pixel camera adopts Sony IMX220R sensor, and there is a double color temperature led fill light below
From this angle, it can be seen that the middle frame of the MX4 also has a radian, which is consistent with the radian of the back cover
Mirror polishing treatment is also available on the aluminum magnesium alloy middle frame
There may be gaps between the rear cover and some parts of the middle frame due to the engineering machine
The top is a 3.5mm headphone interface, noise reducing microphone and power key. For a 75.2mm wide mobile phone, the power key is not reasonable. However, Meizu can unlock and lock the screen through the screen, which can reduce the use of the power key
At the bottom are microUSB interface, call microphone and newly designed four hole speaker
The left side of the fuselage is the volume key
The MX4 does not need tools to open the rear cover. There is a cover opening groove at the bottom of the body
We can easily open the back cover through the groove. After opening, we can see that the battery is still not removable
The purpose of opening the back cover is only to insert and unplug the SIM card. The microSIM card is used
The bottom layer of the package is the accessories, instructions, data cable and power adapter of the MX4
The charging current of the power adapter is 2A
