Today, Microsoft said in its official blog that it would hire Margaret L. (Peggy) Johnson, a former Qualcomm executive, as the executive vice president of Microsoft's business development department, and Johnson would report directly to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
From September 1, Johnson will be responsible for promoting strategic business transactions and partnerships, including establishing and maintaining partnerships with key customers in the industry, strategic innovation partners, OEM manufacturers and major customers and third-party publishers.
