This afternoon, Xiaomi Technology held a press conference to officially release MIUI 6. After four years, MIUI has 70 million online active users, 28 languages, and 26 fan stations around the world. MIUI 6 uses a new design, adheres to the design philosophy of "content is the essence", refines the content, simplifies the icon design, and restores the content with strong recognition.

MIUI 6 uses color to set off the content and removes the decorative design, so that the implementation is still "content is the essence". It also redesigns the notification system according to the usage habits of a large number of users, distinguishes the importance of notifications, and presents different displays according to the importance. And further optimization is made in system optimization, power saving and endurance, safety and monitoring, memory management, etc.

MIUI is a vast project. From focusing on the development of function and interface design in 2010, to the construction of content and ecological chain in 2012, to the integration of Internet services in 2013, MIUI is growing and progressing every day. It can be said that MIUI 6 is the best MIUI so far.  

MIUI 6 immediately conducted a 1000 person internal test. On August 22, the qualification of 10000 internal tests was opened, the development version was open for download in September, and the whole line was upgraded in October. At the end of 2014, Xiaomi 2/2S/2A, Hongmi and Hongmi Note were all tested.
