After Samsung officially released the metal framed Galaxy Alpha on August 13, it officially released the SoC - Exynos 5430 on the Galaxy Alpha on August 14, which is also Samsung's first 20 nanometer process processor.
Exynos 5430 is a big composed of quad core Cortex-A15 and quad core Cortex-A7 LITTLE architecture supports eight core full open, and Mali-T628mp6 graphics processor is used. The frequency is unknown temporarily. Exynos 5430 uses Samsung's 20 nm HKMG process, which is much better than the previous generation in power consumption control. The Exynos 5430 used on the Galaxy Alpha has a frequency of 1.8GHz+1.3GHz, while the Exynos 5430 with a higher frequency will be used on the international advanced Galaxy S5.
Exynos 5430 also supports H.265 (HEVC) hardware decoding, dual ISP, 17GB/s memory bandwidth and other advanced features.
