A few years ago, SylvanSport launched the GO Trailer, which is still one of the most versatile gear handling/camping combinations. GO is a practical and lightweight trailer, but the company thinks it is not light enough. The new GO Easy trailer is smaller and lighter, and its weight is only a fraction of the original. It can haul bicycles, boats and other equipment, and can also be used as a simple camping trailer.

With the aluminum floor and storage box, GO Easy weighs only 125 kg and can work with vehicles of all sizes. It can be towed by Toyota's Prius, MINI Cooper or even a motorcycle. No matter what vehicle you are following, GO Easy's lightweight structure minimizes fuel consumption.

GO Easy is based on a powder coated steel frame and is mounted on a torsion shaft. It can bear 147 kg, up to the weight of 5 bicycles or 4 kayaks. This is a simple skeleton frame, including standard LED lights, a two in one ball coupler, a Thule Crossroad load bar system, two safety cables and a four wire electrical connector.

GO Easy users can customize their own trailers by using their own hardware or equipment provided by SylvanSport, including diamond aluminum floors, weatherproof storage boxes equipped with kayak hatch covers and wall panels. If you want to save a little money, you can use your own wood floor or dado. The deck with the aluminum floor provides 17.6 cubic feet (498 liters) of cargo space, and the weatherproof storage box adds 6.2 cubic feet (175.5 liters) of space. The track of the trailer is compatible with the luggage rack of Thule and Yakima.

The compact and light GO Easy not only has advantages on the road, but also helps at home, making it easier to transport and store. The trailer has a 13.6kg tongue shaped rod that can be rolled up by hand and stored upright.

GO Easy seems to be an ultra light and multi-purpose trailer, but what is really attractive is that it can become an ultra light camping trailer. SylvanSport has partnered with Roost, a roof tent manufacturer based in Georgia, to turn GO Easy into a basic two person camper with storage space at the bottom. The double (or three if necessary) Explorer tent of the Roost is a flip design, weighing 54.4kg, so the total weight of the GO Easy Roost camper is less than 181.4kg, even lighter than the general Teal Tail Feather MINI trailer.

The Roost tent doubles the cargo space, making the GO Easy Roost camper more widely used. The foam mattress and tent frame can be removed by pulling some Velcro fasteners, and it can be turned into a 33cm high gearbox, which can tow sleds, tools and other items.

SylvanSport also sells camping accessories, such as solar power generation equipment Goal Zero and solar shower equipment Road Shower. It seems that because the Roost tent occupies the entire GO Easy track system, the latter needs to be upgraded to a tractor. Load a portable toilet, kettle and cooking equipment on GO Easy, and you can have a small camper that meets your basic needs.

SylvanSport launched GO Easy in March this year. A basic, floorless trailer is priced at $1995 (plus freight). The company calls it "a powerful roof rack on wheels". Aluminum flooring and weatherproof storage box are sold for $300 each, and other equipment is priced separately. The original GO trailer was produced at SylvanSport's headquarters in Brevard, North Carolina.
