In the previous section, we have briefly introduced some hot spots and special packages of customized mechanical keyboards, such as GAC3494, FMJ and other trenches. Over time, driven by the popularity of 60% keyboards, the small number keys have gradually become a supplement. GACNum is the metal housing kit that came into being.
In terms of appearance design, there is not much space for creation of small number keyboard, and the same is true for GACNum. GACNum can be said to be a tray or an ashtray. On the surface, there is not much modeling design. Of course, this is a continuation of GAC's design style. Personally, I think it is simple and elegant enough.
How can the simplicity of design be reflected? Generally speaking, the brand identification or nameplate of the metal shell is designed at the bottom. Although it is invisible, it is still easy to see. GACNum is designed internally, so it can't be seen after PCB is installed.
The effect of black anode sandblasting is quite good, and corresponding pillars are designed.
The side view is more effective. GACNum is made of 6061T6 aluminum. It is cut by CNC and then sandblasted by anode. The overall texture is excellent.
The top is the only landmark design. GACNum still continues the design of the GAC family, which is quite a bit of a problem. The GAC's overall convergence without demon style is in line with my preference.
GACNum's floor mats are the best ones I have ever touched (of course, I seldom touch them). Their workmanship and quality are really good.
Of course, there is also a small number keyboard PCB that matches the GACNum package. The board is customized and developed by the great god in the circle based on open source. Due to time, the lamp is directly welded and used.
The key cap is the Leopold alloy ink white PBT key cap. This key cap can be said to be one of the key caps I have touched. The feel and texture are first-class.
The actual effect is as shown in the figure. The friends in the circle help to weld and use the five foot red axis and red light. The effect is quite good. Of course, GACNum's overall price is more than 600 yuan, which is a good price among customized mechanical keyboards. Of course, in terms of volume, it is actually a trench.
