G2 is the latest flagship product of LG and the first product after LG abandoned the Optimus brand. In addition to the appearance design and rear button, G2 performs very well in photographing, especially the addition of OIS optical anti shake makes its photographing performance even better. The god of XDA developer is not satisfied with this, and has made a camera enhancement package for G2. Let's also try something new.
PS: The prerequisite for brushing in the photo enhancement package is that the phone needs to have root and Recovery installed.
The photo enhancement package is a zip file just like the general brush package
After Recovery is brushed in, we open the photographing interface. The viewfinder box is not very different from the previous one, but after careful observation, we found that the photographing and recording switch buttons in the upper right corner are slightly misaligned

The main enhancements of the photo enhancement package are video bit rate and photo noise reduction. The video bit rate has changed from 1080P 20Mb/s to 1080P 30Mb/s, 720P 12Mb/s to 720P 20Mb/s, which is much higher than before in terms of bit rate, which will provide better picture quality for video shooting
After importing the enhancement package, we checked the video information taken and found that the 1080P video bit rate has indeed become 30Mb/s
720P becomes 20Mb/s
As for the enhancement of photography, it is mainly to improve the noise control, and even claims that the noise of ISO1600 is only at the level of the original ISO1200, while that of ISO800 is only at the level of ISO650. The following is the live shot comparison sample:

From the above two sets of samples, it seems that the improvement of noise reduction effect mentioned by the author of camera mod is not obvious, and the camera enhancement package is more significant for us in improving the video's high bit rate and video quality. If you really want to improve your photography algorithm, I'm afraid it will be done by LG officials.
