Vodafone, a British telecommunications company, and the University of Southampton recently launched two new products, which can use the energy generated by the human body to charge mobile phones. These two products are called Power Shorts and Recharge Sleeping Bag, respectively.
Among them, Power Shorts is a rechargeable jeans, which uses special materials. When you walk in these jeans, the shape of the cloth will constantly change, and generate current to charge your mobile phone.
Recharge Sleeping Bag is actually a sleeping bag, which can use the heat generated by the body when sleeping to generate electricity. However, according to Vodafone, the power generated by this charging bag one night can only allow the phone to talk for 24 minutes, which is really not very efficient, but it can still be used in emergencies.
Vodafone plans to officially launch these two products at the Isle of Wight Carnival this weekend. As for the price, Vodafone has not disclosed yet.
