Tegra 4
Since its release, it has been widely concerned. It uses a quad core Cortex-A15 architecture processor with a maximum of 1.9GHz, and a 72 "core" GPU. There is no doubt that its performance is strong. Of course, the main reason for limiting its development is that its power consumption is not easy to control. There are few devices using it in the market. Among them, NVIDIA's own handheld Shield directly adds a cooling fan, which shows its high temperature.
Huiwei, a tablet brand from Shenzhen, took the lead in launching the first Tegra 4 tablet in China, and added a number of unique functions, claiming a score of 36000. We have evaluated a Tegra 4 tablet before I have initially learned the power of Tegra 4, but the performance of AT703 is not good because of its high resolution and poor optimization. But we can see from the Huiwei Pad that it is well prepared. The resolution should be controlled at 1080P or even 720P, which will also give Tegra 4 more room to play. Exynos 5410
It is also a very powerful SoC in the Android camp. It uses four 1.6GHz Cortex-A15 and four 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 to form the "4+4" architecture, which is used on some versions of Samsung's current Galaxy S4 (of course, the Galaxy Note III will replace it on September 4). The domestic tablet manufacturers Longkubahe and Youjian Hengtian have both launched tablets using this chip. It seems that the two Exynos 5410 tablets use the same mold. Because the internal space of the tablet is relatively large, it is believed that the Exynos 5410 will play better than the Galaxy S4, and it is not easy to reduce the frequency.
From the perspective of the route of new domestic tablets, most of the products taking the middle and low-end route have used the Cortex-A7 architecture, while the high-end products have used the Tegra 4 and Exynos 5410 of Cortex-A15. From the perspective of other configurations, it is also balanced. Most of them are equipped with 2G Ram, 16G Rom or above, and high pixel cameras. However, many products use 720P products on the screen, and the color and visual angle of the screen panel are not good. Domestic tablets still need to make more efforts in appearance design, screen materials and UI. The stacking of SoC and RAM is not enough to make a tablet become an excellent one.
