Is it cool to take the subway with a swipe of your mobile phone? The concept of mobile phone swiping card and mobile phone wallet is becoming more and more popular. Mobile phone users in many places can make your mobile phone have RFID function by replacing the SIM card with RFID chip. However, there are still many problems. Because it is an active card, it must be used when the phone is powered, otherwise the card cannot be read by the machine. Now let's take a look at the DIY, which allows you to build various cards into your mobile phone!
Material preparation:
- RFID card to be modified
- scissors
- marking pen
- Electric iron
- RFID coil (no chip, available on Taox)
- Anti magnetic sticker (available on Taox.com)
- lighter
- Tweezers
- bolt driver
- Flashlight
Step 1:
First, determine whether the card to be modified is an RFID card. Generally, RFID cards are non-contact, such as common bus cards and subway cards. RFID card is different from bank card, which means that there is no magnetic stripe and no exposed chip (similar to IC phone card). Then, after confirming that the card in your hand is an RFID card, we need to find out where the chip inside the card is located. At this time, we need to use a flashlight (I use the mobile phone flash here), and use the flashlight to find the location of the chip under the card, as shown in the figure.
Step 2:
After finding the location of the chip, use a marker to draw the approximate location of the chip. Remember to draw a larger one in case you accidentally cut the chip. After confirming the chip position, start to use the knife! Cut out the area just drawn with scissors.

Step 3:
Clamp the part just cut with tweezers, and burn the plastic covering the chip with a lighter. Take out the chip after melting the plastic

Step 4:
After the chip is successfully taken out, the coil and chip prepared in advance are welded together with an electric soldering iron. After welding, it is better to find a place to test whether the chip of our cottage is available. For example, go to the subway station to check the balance of the bus card.
Step 5:
Open the back cover of the mobile phone you need to modify (it depends on the model of the mobile phone whether it is disassembled or directly buckled), put the chip that has just been welded in the back cover of the mobile phone, put it in place and cover the back cover, and then go to the subway station to test whether it can sense the card in the mobile phone, If you can't, you can change the position of the chip and coil or try using the antimagnetic sticker (the small knitting machine can sense the card without using the sticker here).
Since Xiaobian uses iPhone for demonstration, a special screwdriver is needed to remove the back cover
After removing the back cover, select the position of the coil and fix it to ensure that it will not cause short circuit and space limitation of the phone
Postscript:
I hope you can be as careful as possible when you modify the card so as not to damage the original card and cause unnecessary trouble. In particular, some small card editors who are not convenient to reissue suggest not to change them as much as possible. In Shenzhen, cards like Shenzhen Tong and community access cards are very easy to refit. They are the same structure as the library library card mentioned in the article, and convenience stores can recharge Shenzhen Tong. They don't have any concerns when recharging, let alone the access card. Nobody cares how you open the door, let alone the question of recharging. Of course, if it is broken, it is another matter. If it's a school meal card or something, it's likely that after your modification, the ferocious aunt will treat you as a bad child who cracked the school meal card
