Finally, it is not 8064. LG Optimus G Pro will use Snapdragon 600

Recently, there has been a lot of news about LG's new flagship Optimus G Pro. In addition to the successive release of the Japanese version and the Korean version, the latest news shows that the Optimus G Pro Korean version does not use APQ8064, but the Snapdragon 600 processor just released by Qualcomm on CES2013, which will even bring up to 40% performance improvement.

Main configurations of Optimus G Pro Korean version:

CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 (unknown frequency, up to 1.9GHz)

Ram:2G

Rom: 32G (supporting tf card expansion)

Screen: 5.5 inch 1920 * 1080 IPS screen

Battery capacity: 3140mAh

Camera: 13 million pixels in the rear, 2.4 million pixels in the front

From the configuration point of view, the biggest highlight of course is the Snapdragon 600. No other mobile phones have yet announced the use of this SoC. The biggest difference between APQ8064 and APQ8064 is the improvement of CPU performance. The core of APQ8064 (Snapdragon S4 Pro) is Krait 200, while the Snapdragon 600 uses Krait 300. The official claim is that the performance is increased by 40%, and the power consumption will be further reduced. In addition to the change of SoC, the battery of the Korean version has also increased from 3000mAh of the Japanese version to 3140mAh. LG is really good for domestic products

More information about Optimus G Pro will be announced at MWC 2013 at the end of February.
