With the development of technology, X86 architecture processors have made great progress in power consumption, heat generation, etc. Intel has also introduced some mobile Atom processors with new architecture, which can support both Android and Windows system platforms. So a large number of dual system tablets that conform to the development of the times have become popular. Chiwei HiBook tablet is one of the products with good performance price ratio. Its balanced configuration price is only 1099 yuan, and it can freely travel between Windows and Android.

If you have played MP3 and MP4 before, you will be familiar with Chiwei brand. Now Chiwei's product line has turned to tablet and has formed a global strategic tablet partner with Intel and Microsoft. In terms of hardware, HiBook is equipped with Intel Atom x5-Z8300 CPU, and has a 2MB cache of up to 1.84GHz main frequency. It is based on the 14nm process technology of the herry Trail architecture, and its power consumption is only 2W, which is not high. With the 6600mA battery built in the body, it has a good performance in terms of endurance. At the same time, it has 4G DDR3L memory and 64GB eMMC solid state storage, and can also expand the TF space up to 64GB, which can better meet the needs of daily entertainment and simple office scenes.   

It is self-evident that the importance of face value in today's face viewing era, and HiBook also shows a high standard in this respect. The elegant and restrained appearance design is simple and smooth, and the thin body made of aluminum alloy presents a solid and lightweight delicacy. The overall manufacturing process also has a good performance. The metal edge is processed by double track diamond trimming, which makes the contour of the whole machine more rigid and emits bright light and shadow under the irradiation of light. The metal backplane has undergone a delicate sandblasting process, and the four edges have also been specially curved, effectively improving the hand feel when holding.  

  HiBook uses a 10.1 inch IPS full HD display screen and adopts OGS fitting process, which has a very wide viewing angle. In terms of color, the positive contrast is also high, and the picture performance is very delicate, but the two narrow frames have a slight light leak, which is not serious, reaching the current mainstream level. The size of the HiBook machine is similar to the size of the iPad air. The black glass cover on the front has a good screen aesthetics. However, when the screen lights up, the thick black edges around the screen are slightly touching, affecting the proportion of screens to a certain extent.

  The extensibility of the tablet is determined by the richness of external interfaces. HiBook places some external interfaces on the left narrow side. 3.5mm headphones Micro HDMI、 The functions of microphone, Micro USB, Type-C and TF card slot ensure the connection and expansion of HiBook with various external settings. The matrix type openings on both sides have built-in ACC speakers, which can provide a more three-dimensional sound when using the horizontal screen. On the system side, Android 5.1 and Windows10 genuine operating systems are pre installed. One button switching is supported in both Android and Win10. In this way, the respective advantages of the two systems can be brought into full play, and daily leisure and entertainment can be carried out in the Android system with more friendly interactive experience; Simple work processing, such as writing a document, making a PPT, and taking photos under PS, can be done under Win10. Of course, Win10's control performance in tablet mode is still somewhat unsatisfactory, so it is necessary to prepare a pivot keyboard for HiBook. The original spindle keyboard needs to be purchased separately, and the price is only 299 yuan. With it, HiBook can be used as a small notebook, greatly improving the working efficiency under Win10.  

  The spindle keyboard adopts the chocolate layout of 82 keys, which will not appear cramped when typing. The combination of HiBook and spindle keyboard completes docking of Docking interface through magnetic adsorption, which is very convenient for loading and unloading. The rotating shaft is also designed with a sense of paragraph. When it reaches a certain angle, it will automatically close together. It can be opened and closed at about 0~120 degrees when working, and the keyboard will be properly raised after being fully unfolded. At this time, the keyboard surface will present a small angle with the horizontal plane, which is more conducive to the comfort of typing.  

  Since the HiBook body is not equipped with a USB interface, and the keyboard is equipped with two standard USB interfaces on the left and right sides, the connection with the keyboard makes up for HiBook's inherent shortcomings. The upper part of the keyboard is made of the same aluminum alloy as the HiBook body, and the bottom is made of lightweight plastic to effectively reduce its weight. Even with the spindle keyboard, the HiBook weighs only about 1.1KG, and its overall thickness can be controlled within 18mm, which can be easily carried in a bag.

  The advantage of Android is entertainment. I am more accustomed to switching HiBook to Android system when I watch a movie or TV play. The 10.1-inch screen will not be too burdensome in my hand. If the lady friend thinks it is a little big, it can also be installed on the spindle keyboard, which is convenient for viewing on the desktop. The resolution of the screen has reached the 1080P full HD level, and the amount of information displayed is quite large. When reading some e-books or news, more content can be included, but this size will have some difficulty in playing some Android games that require higher operating speed. Although the overall smoothness of HiBook is very good, the Android system on board is close to the original sound state, lacking some optimization for the large screen and small functions of convenience and humanity.  

    By the way, a charging and endurance test was carried out on the Android system. HiBook charging interface selects a more advanced Type – C interface, which can be plugged in and out freely regardless of the front and back. The power adapter is 5V 3A standard. When the battery reaches the bottom, it starts to charge. Due to the large capacity of the battery, it takes about 3 hours and 20 hours to fully charge, which is slightly longer. The endurance test is not suitable for everyone's habits, so we use the Work Better Life in PCMARK for the standard test. It can simulate the uninterrupted test of browsing web pages, text editing, watching videos, editing pictures and other scenes in normal use. The test is carried out when the battery is charged to 100%. After a long test of 9 hours and 7 minutes, the remaining battery is still 20%, and the endurance is good.  

    The advantage of win10 lies in the performance of office applications. HiBook is like a super book with the help of the spindle keyboard. Although it is not comparable to a professional laptop phone in performance, it can also be used as a mild productivity tool with a higher cost performance ratio. HiBook's performance in word coding, PPT production, excel table editing, etc. is no different from that of traditional PCs, but due to the screen size, the displayed text will be slightly smaller. There is no too much pressure to use PS for image processing, and the boot speed is very fast. It only takes about 25 seconds to enter the system.  

  HiBook is equipped with 4G DDR3L memory, which can better meet the requirements of Android and win10 dual systems. Under win10, Master Lu has scored more than 50000 points in the score test, which belongs to the entry level of PC. For 64GB solid state storage, about 10GB is allocated to Android, and the rest is allocated to win10, which is reasonable. Use the AS SSD Benchmark to perform a simple test on the continuous reading and writing performance of the hard disk, and the final performance can only be said to be a general score of only 130 points. Frequent data calls to the disk will have a certain impact on the smoothness of the flow, and there will be some frustration when running multiple programs or opening multiple web pages.  

  Maybe my requirements are too high. I always look at HiBook from the perspective of PC, and almost forget that it is just a thousand yuan tablet. After that, I continued to try to install a popular LOL on HiBook, which gave me a surprise. After all kinds of visual effects were turned to the minimum, I could run smoothly and won't hurt my teammates. The HiBook machine has a small heat output and only a warm feeling during long operation, which is inseparable from the excellent thermal conductivity of the metal body, ensuring the stability of the machine.

After nearly 10 days of experience, I increasingly like this compact and versatile HiBook, which can be regarded as a combination of PC miniaturization and tablet maximization. Although the performance is relatively compromised, it gives good consideration to the respective advantages of rehabilitation and PC, allowing users to freely shuttle between Android and Windows. The price of 1099 yuan is really impressive, and the beautiful design also left a good impression on me. Buying an original turntable keyboard is equivalent to giving you a super notebook, which can easily be competent for light office tasks. On the whole, HiBook is suitable for people who prefer entertainment to office work, and is a good choice for students and business travelers. If you don't use the computer at home very well and are ready to start a tablet, then HiBook is the most suitable one.
