Huawei is a very mysterious enterprise in the eyes of many people. Xiao Bian has also been to Huawei several times, and has deeply experienced this mysterious feeling. Every time we go downstairs to Huawei, the security guards will say that we are not allowed to bring laptops or USB flash drives. Their security measures are quite strict. However, on November 24, Huawei unexpectedly invited some mobile phone experts to visit Huawei's factories and laboratories.

The first stop is Huawei GCTC laboratory

In Huawei's Bantian base, we first visited Huawei's GCTC laboratory. In the whole process, Huawei engineers showed us around and explained to us, but they were too advanced to understand many of them.

Guess what these blue pointed ones are? This is not an ancient torture machine. These are called wave absorbing sponges. They can absorb signals from mobile phones, so if you are in a place surrounded by these wave absorbing sponges, your mobile phone will have no signal.

The room below is also full of wave absorbing sponges, but a white cover is added to the surface of the sponge. We have seen many rooms like this in the whole laboratory. They are mainly used to test the RF signals of mobile phones. Every new Huawei mobile phone will be sent here for testing before it is officially sold.  

The yellow machine below is used to test the radiation of mobile phones to ensure that the radiation intensity of mobile phones is within a reasonable range.

This equipment is called Glow Wire Tester, which mainly tests the flammability and flame resistance index of mobile phone materials. In case of failure in the internal part of the mobile phone, some components may reach a certain temperature and cause the nearby parts to burn. The test of this device can prevent the mobile phone from igniting.  

The second stop is Huawei Headquarters Building

After visiting Huawei's laboratories, we went to Huawei's headquarters building, where Huawei's interpreters introduced Huawei's history and some of its latest products.

The following one, which is only the size of a palm, is also a base station. Is it very small? In fact, this small base station may exist in your communities.

The following is the legendary video conference system that Huawei cooperates with Haidilao. Through this system, relatives and friends thousands of miles away can gather together to eat hotpot together.

This is a chip developed by Huawei HiSilicon. Guess where the legendary K3V2 is?

Yes, at the lower right corner of the above figure is HiSilicon's K3V2, 40 nanometer process, 1.5GHz A9 architecture quad core processor.

The third station: Songshan Lake Factory

In the Songshan Lake factory, Huawei's security measures are more strict, and mobile phones and cameras are kept. In fact, the environment of the whole Songshan Lake factory is pretty good, but the only one taken by Xiao Bian is the one below when he just got off the bus.  

According to the official introduction of Huawei, at present, Huawei's Songshan Lake factory has more than 12000 employees and has 43 advanced SMT lines.
Before we officially enter the factory, we also need to carry out a human body static electricity test. If the static electricity is too high, we are not allowed to enter, because we are afraid that the static electricity will cause damage to the products. The reason why we waited for a long time is that the static electricity is too high. In addition, we also need to wear anti-static clothing and anti-static caps. The following picture is a group photo of all our visitors after they put on their clothes. Is it handsome?

The environment control of the whole factory is also very strict. The following picture is a real-time online humidity monitor. Through this, you can easily understand the moderate environment of the whole factory, and then adjust the moderate temperature of the environment to minimize the generation of static electricity.

In addition, Xiao Bian also noticed that all computer mice here have been treated with anti-static treatment and have been pasted with a layer of anti radiation film. All employees also have a wrist strap on their hands, which can also track the static situation of employees in real time.

The following are called mounters. The spare parts on the mobile phone will be installed on the white disc at the lower left corner, and then the mounter will automatically install the components on the mobile phone, which is much more efficient through mechanical operation.

What is professional film sticking? The look and gestures are different from those of the film sticking workers on the overpass. More importantly, professional film sticking needs a thousand dust free environment.

In the factory, we also saw a lot of equipment to monitor the product quality, including solder paste thickness detector, optical monitoring equipment, which can monitor whether the patch is correctly pasted, and X-ray monitoring equipment.

During the visit, the staff of Zhonghuawei Factory also introduced to us that they would use the dispenser to deal with some large components, which could prevent the components from loosening during the collision process of the mobile phone.

Maybe you will wonder if there are so many spare parts in the packaging box of the mobile phone, and if there are any omissions in the packaging process. In fact, Huawei's factory will carry out a secondary inspection. Through high-precision weighing of the package, it can be checked whether there are missing parts when the package is transferred.

Tencent, the last stop

In Huawei's Glorious Quad Core Enjoyment Edition, Huawei has cooperated with Tencent. The familiar QQ steward, Baibian camera and Enjoyment are all made by Penguin.
At Tencent's stop, the product manager of Tencent Aixiang introduced the product to us and answered the questions of visitors.

After visiting Tencent, the whole journey of Huawei's glorious four core exploration ended. In the whole process, we experienced how Huawei products are tested and how mobile phones are assembled in the factory. Maybe it is because Huawei was too mysterious and too low-key before, so Huawei has never been able to give a deep impression. However, after this visit, my feeling about Huawei has really changed a lot.
