The global mobile phone tracking quarterly report from IDC shows that the market share of Android operating system accounts for 75% of the global smartphone market share, which means that 3/4 of the global smartphones use Android. The market shares of iOS and Blackberry are 14.9% and 4.3% respectively.
IDC said that it is really amazing that Android has achieved such impressive results within only four years of its release.
