On CES2013, Qualcomm released a new flagship SoC, Snapdragon 800, which uses the new Krait 400 core with Adreno 330. At MWC 2013, ZTE Grand Memo, the first mobile phone using the chip, was finally released.
The configuration of this mobile phone is basically the same as that of the Grand Memo N5 currently launched in China, which uses a 5.7 inch 720P screen, 13 million pixels, and 3200mAh battery. But its biggest change is that the SoC has changed from APQ8064 to Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and supports LTE networks.
The following are the live photos of the new Grand Memo:
The 5.7 inch screen is basically the limit of one hand
Close up of earpiece
There are still three touch keys. Interestingly, Grand Memo can also call up virtual keys
The thickness is well controlled
There is a 13 million pixel camera on the back, and the camera bulges
The model is V9815 with Android 4.1.2
In the web page javascript performance test, the score was only 1186.7ms. The score was not very good, and the gap between the score and that of Tegra 4 was also large. However, this has a lot to do with browsers
The grapevine said that the LTE version of Grand Memo will be launched in China next month. However, since it is still unknown whether Snapdragon 800 can be shipped, we will decompose it at that time.
